One of the major container terminals of the Jawaharlal Nehru port has handed four million TEUs of container cargo during the fourth year of its operation in the port
PSA Mumbai achieved the significant milestone of handling 4 million TEUs since the start of the terminal’s operations in February 2018 at JN Port on July 22,2022.
The key 4 millionth TEU was handled on the vessel Maersk Genoa, according to a port release.
PSA Mumbai is further expanding terminal capacity from 2.4 Million TEUs to 4.8 Million TEUs by the 1st quarter of 2025 to be well ahead of the demand.
The terminal conveys its gratitude to all the
shipping lines, customers, statutory bodies and stakeholders for their
overwhelming support in achieving this major milestone.
