The first stage of
the warehouse expansion, which is expected to increase the area by 20%, was the
launch of a new production site “Warehouse 81” of 13,500 m² and an operational
capacity of 1,113 TEUs within the territory of CPV.
“FESCO Group pays
close attention to the strategic development of the Commercial Port of
Vladivostok and, first of all, to increasing its capacity,” said Andrey

The development strategy of
the Commercial Port of Vladivostok also includes the introduction
of modern Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, modernisation of
warehouses, railway infrastructure and sea berths as well as the purchase of
new equipment.

Russian port plans to purchase 170 units of machine equipment, at stage one (in
2023) – ten RTG cranes, six reach stackers, four reach trucks, one track mobile
and 19 tractors with semi-trailers.
“We are
implementing an ambitious programme aimed at expanding and optimising container
areas of the port so that by the end of 2023 CPV could process 840,000 TEUs and
in the future reach figures of 1 million TEUs,” pointed out Severilov.
