Pakistan Navy Rescues Stranded Indian Crew In The Arabian Sea

A joint operation between the Pakistan Navy and the Maritime Security Agency successfully rescued nine Indian nationals who became stranded in the Arabian Sea.

The ‘Sas Five’ boat, which had set off from Dabhol Port in India on February 4th and was headed to Shahjah, was carrying the distressed crew when it experienced a technical malfunction.

Pakistani officials swiftly responded to a distress call by deploying PMSS Kashmir and Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft for the search and rescue operation.

The safety of the trapped crew was ensured when the PMSS Kashmir spotted the malfunctioning vessel and quickly resolved the technical problems. Essential medical support was also given to the exhausted crew members. The successful operation repaired the engine and aided the crew’s return to safety. After repairs were finished, the boat was permitted to sail toward its intended destination and the crew was declared fit for travel.

The ‘Sas Five’ Indian crew expressed their appreciation for the prompt and competent response from the Pakistan Navy and Maritime Security Agency. This rescue effort demonstrates Pakistani officials’ dedication to protecting marine life and upholding caution when engaging in maritime operations.
