Dr. (Capt.)
Vivek Jain released the first bilingual book, both in English and Mandarin,
for Chinese law and its comparison with Common law. This book was released in
Xiamen in presence of Xiamen Municipal Bureau, China Council for Promotion of
International Trade, Administrative and other local Committees, Maritime Silk
Road Chamber of Arbitration Promotion, Arbitration Centres from Thailand,
Turkey, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Maritime Dispute Resolution Malaysia, SCMA
Singapore.
The dignitaries during the book release included were Capt. Lee Fook Choon, Chair of Maritime Silk Road Arbitration (in photo releasing the book), Dr Shouzhi An, the Managing partner of very large and reputed law firm of China and my co-author who made this project possible for updating and translating the English version of the book, Mr. Sam Tsui (Hong Kong), Datuk Joy Wilson Appukuttan (Malaysia), Bernice Yeoh Director SCMA Singapore, Noppramart Thammateeradaycho (Thailand), Onur Sabri Durak (Turkey).
