During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the
expanding scope of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on key regional
and global developments of mutual interest. Prime Minister Modi underscored the
deep-rooted friendship between India and Japan, built on shared democratic
values, mutual trust, and a common vision for a free, open, inclusive, and
rules-based Indo-Pacific. The
discussions highlighted the growing momentum in India–Japan collaboration
across diverse sectors, including trade and investment, infrastructure
development, connectivity, digital innovation, clean energy, technology,
defence and security cooperation, and resilient supply chains. Both sides
acknowledged the significant progress achieved under the Special Strategic and
Global Partnership and reiterated their commitment to further deepening
collaboration in emerging and critical sectors.
Prime Minister Modi
