Rwanda has taken a step
forward in digitising its cargo business by selecting Cargo Flash Infotech’s
nGen Integrated Cargo Management System to support its freight operations.
The
agreement brings together the cargo arm of Rwanda’s national airline and Delhi
NCR–based technology provider Cargo Flash Infotech as part of RwandAir’s
broader push to modernize and streamline its cargo processes. The airline aims
to enhance operational efficiency, improve visibility and deliver more reliable
service across its cargo network.
Cargo
Flash’s nGen platform is a fully cloud-based cargo management system designed
to manage the complete air cargo lifecycle on a single digital backbone. The system integrates core functions such
as booking, documentation, warehouse management, shipment tracking and final
delivery, replacing fragmented processes with an end-to-end automated workflow.
According to Cargo Flash, the
nGen system will enable real-time shipment tracking and greater transparency
for both operators and customers. Centralised data access and process
automation are expected to support quicker, more informed decision-making and
improve overall operational accuracy.
Both
companies said the partnership is aligned with a shared commitment to
innovation and digital enablement, with
a strong emphasis on building customer-focused cargo solutions that can scale
with RwandAir’s growth ambitions.
