Egypt’s first semi-automated container terminal launches operations

This project signifies a pivotal milestone in Egypt's maritime development, underpinned by a 30-year concession agreement with the Egyptian government.

The terminal operates as a critical gateway connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe within the Suez Canal Economic Zone, with the capacity to accommodate the largest container vessels. Its design aims to enhance international shipping operations and improve transport efficiency for Egyptian importers and exporters.
