During the meeting, the CONCOR leadership apprised the
Hon’ble Minister of key operational and strategic initiatives undertaken to
strengthen rail-led logistics, improve multimodal connectivity, and enhance
service efficiency for trade and industry. Discussions covered initiatives
focused on digitalization, terminal infrastructure augmentation, first- and
last-mile connectivity improvements, and customized logistics offerings
designed to meet evolving customer requirements. The CMD highlighted CONCOR’s continued efforts toward optimizing rail
freight movement, expanding inland container depot (ICD) and container freight
station (CFS) capabilities, and supporting India’s growing export-import and
domestic cargo demand through reliable, cost-effective logistics
solutions. The Hon’ble Minister appreciated CONCOR’s role in strengthening the
country’s logistics ecosystem and emphasized the importance of rail-based
freight movement in achieving sustainable and efficient transportation growth.
