The CONCOR
delegation, led by Sanjay
Swarup, Chairman & Managing Director, included Harish Chandra, Principal
Executive Director (Finance) & CFO; Gayatri, Area Head (South); and Paresh
Agrawal, Group General Manager (Business Development). The
delegation was received by senior officials from CMA CGM, including Yannis Chaffi,
Responsable des Achats, Département Intermodal, along with
other key executives.
During the discussions, Mr. Swarup highlighted
CONCOR’s robust and expanding infrastructure footprint across India, its strong
rail-linked inland container depot (ICD) network, and its commitment to
enhancing logistics efficiency through customer-centric innovations. He
elaborated on key upcoming initiatives, including the development of operations
at Bhavnagar Port, the launch of the Bharat
Container Shipping Line (BCSL), and the establishment of additional Multi-Modal Logistics Parks
(MMLPs) at strategically identified locations to strengthen hinterland
connectivity.
Both organizations
engaged in constructive deliberations on potential areas of collaboration…The
meeting also underscored the importance of aligning global shipping
capabilities with India’s rapidly evolving logistics infrastructure to unlock
new trade opportunities and drive cost efficiencies for customers.
This engagement marks a significant step towards
fostering a strategic partnership between CONCOR and CMA CGM, aimed at delivering
seamless, efficient, and future-ready logistics solutions across international
and domestic markets.
