DeSpir Logistics, which generated $62 million in
revenue during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, specializes in
handling sensitive shipments requiring enhanced security, regulatory compliance
and precision execution. The acquisition expands C.H. Robinson’s services for
industries including healthcare, life sciences, aerospace, data centers and
high-value retail. The company said
the move comes amid growing demand for specialized logistics solutions as
supply chains become more complex and cargo theft continues to rise. By
integrating DeSpir’s expertise with C.H. Robinson’s global network and
technology platform, customers will benefit from enhanced shipment visibility,
stricter security protocols and tailored transportation solutions. Adam
McDonough, Vice President of Capacity at C.H. Robinson, said the acquisition
combines the company’s large-scale logistics capabilities with DeSpir’s
specialized operational expertise to manage critical shipments such as
life-saving pharmaceuticals and high-value data center equipment. C.H. Robinson added that the acquisition
aligns with its strategy of expanding premium, high-margin logistics services
while strengthening its presence in key strategic industry verticals. Jim
Mancini, Vice President of Customer Success, said the deal enhances the
company’s ability to deliver greater precision, security and value for
customers moving complex, high-value freight.
