CONCOR Launches First Outward Domestic Container Service from Mysore to Kolkata

In the first week of June 2026, CONCOR successfully dispatched a consignment of 80 domestic 20-foot containers from MMLP-Kadakola to Shalimar, Kolkata, marking the commencement of a new rail-based domestic cargo corridor connecting southern and eastern India.      The launch represents a major step forward in expanding integrated logistics connectivity across regions and is expected to provide industries and businesses with faster, more reliable, and cost-effective cargo transportation options. The service will enhance supply chain efficiency, strengthen cargo handling capabilities, and offer greater operational flexibility to customers utilizing the route.   The new container movement underscores CONCOR’s commitment to promoting rail-led logistics solutions and reducing dependence on road transportation for long-distance cargo movement. By leveraging its extensive nationwide network of terminals and logistics facilities, the company aims to facilitate seamless cargo flows and support the growing demand for efficient domestic freight services.
