VOCPA Achieves 20 MMT Cargo Milestone Ahead of Schedule
The port reached
the landmark seven days ahead of the corresponding period last year, recording
an overall 4.9% growth in cargo handling during the period. Key Highlights: 20 MMT cargo handled 7 days ahead of last year’s milestone 4.9% growth in cargo throughput and
FY 2026–27: April 2026 to 13 September 2026 The achievement underscores VOCPA’s
continued focus on operational efficiency, enhanced productivity and improved
cargo handling performance, further strengthening its position as a key
maritime gateway for southern India.
The milestone also reflects the port’s sustained efforts to support the
region’s growing trade and logistics requirements while improving overall
service efficiency for the EXIM community.
