The programme aimed to promote environmental
awareness and encourage recycling and reuse among learners and stakeholders of
the Centre.
Participants prepared
a variety of crafts using waste materials, which were later displayed in an
exhibition showcasing innovative and sustainable ideas. Dr. Ali Jafer Abedi,
Nodal Officer of the Swachhata Abhiyan, judged the exhibits and appreciated the
creativity and effort of the participants.
Rozi secured the first
position, while Zinat Bano andQamar Jahan were placed second and third
respectively. Consolation prizes were awarded toMuskan and Ayesha for their
commendable efforts.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Abedi highlighted the
importance of recycling and waste management as integral aspects of cleanliness
and sustainability. Dr. Shamim Akhtar, Director, CCAEE, addressed the
gathering, underlining the educational significance of such activities and
their role in fostering responsible citizenship. He also proposed a vote of thanks.
