Allcargo
Logistics has expanded and reorganised its domestic supply chain network from
21 to 71 transshipment centres across India to strengthen connectivity, faster
turnaround and improve customer experience nationwide.
The
company announced that the transformation follows the approval of its
restructuring plan, which houses its domestic supply chain business, express distribution
and consultative logistics. The move aims to enhance operational efficiency,
streamline processes and build a future-ready logistics ecosystem in India.
The
upgraded network covers nearly 100 percent of India’s GDP geographies and
ensures consistent service reliability across the North, South, East and West.
The newly recategorised centres are now grouped into four categories like
Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze based on daily tonnage handling capacity.
Platinum represents the highest category. This structure enables sharper
operational clarity, better planning and stronger network predictability.
