Gujarat Govt approves ₹629 cr project to upgrade six major Kutch roads into four-lane corridors

According to the state government, the investment will be used to widen and upgrade a network of roads and bypasses around Mundra and nearby villages in Kutch.      Officials said the project will significantly improve transportation infrastructure for local residents while supporting industrial and commercial growth in the region. The approved road development package includes several major stretches, such as: 4.1 km stretch of Mundra–Luni Vadala road to be upgraded to four lanes; 5.1 km stretch of Deshalpar–Siracha road for widening and improvement; 5.5 km of Mundra–Jarpura–Kandagara–Dhrab road; 3.3 km Jarpura village bypass road and 4.5 km road serving Mota Kandagara village; and 20 km stretch between chainage 19 and 39 of Mundra–Jarpura–Kandagara road
These improvements also include bypass construction around Jarpura and Navinal villages to ease traffic flow.     Officials stated that the upgraded four-lane roads will make travel more convenient for villagers and significantly reduce congestion in populated areas.
