The new
vessels will be azimuth tugs with a bollard pull of 70 metric tons. They are
equipped with a FiFi 1 fire suppression system and were designed by Robert
Allan, a renowned international naval architecture firm. “We are strengthening our operations in
the markets where we have a presence with state-of-the-art assets. Brazil is
one of the most important countries for our company, so our focus is on
continuing to grow and offering the best service to our customers,” said Renata
Ervilha, the company’s country manager in Brazil. “We’re pleased to create value for the local
logistics chain by working with Belov. This project will help boost the economy
in Salvador de Bahía and reinforces our commitment to the development of the
area’s maritime industry,” she added.
