Greenply Industries Partners withGreenLine for LNG-Powered Logistics
Greenply Industries Limited has partnered with GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd to integrate LNG-powered transportation into its outbound logistics operations

Greenply Industries Partners withGreenLine for LNG-Powered Logistics

The partnership was formally launched with the flag-off of GreenLine’s LNG-powered trucks at Greenply’s manufacturing facility in Vadodara. Under the initiative, Greenply will useGreenLine’s green logistics network to transport products from its Vadodara facility to destinations across its distribution network. The move introduces an alternative-fuel option into Greenply’s logistics operations and extends the company’s sustainability efforts beyond manufacturing to transportation and distribution.      According to GreenLine, its LNG-powered trucks can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 40%, SOx by up to 100%, NOx by up to 59%, particulate matter by up to 91% and CO by up to 70%, depending on vehicle configuration, fuel quality and operating conditions.      Sanidhya Mittal, Joint Managing Director, Greenply Industries Limited, said the company views sustainability as extending across its value chain, including how products and materials move through the logistics network. He described the introduction of LNG-powered trucks at Vadodara as a first step towards exploring more responsible mobility solutions while balancing environmental considerations with supply-chain efficiency and reliability.      MadhurTaneja, CEO, GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd, said the partnership demonstrates how lower-emission freight solutions can be integrated into existing supply chains while maintaining operational efficiency.

Greenply will evaluate the operational feasibility of LNG-powered transportation across its dispatch network and assess further opportunities to adopt responsible mobility solutions based on operational requirements and learnings from the initiative.
