The agreement strengthens Ritco’s presence in the
petrochemical logistics sector, where the company handles transportation
requirements for polymer and other industrial products. Under the contract,
polymer granules produced at HRRL’s Pachpadra facility will be transported to
destinations across India. Ritco plans to deploy its
technology-enabled logistics infrastructure to manage the nationwide
distribution network. The company will use AI-driven route optimisation,
automated fleet management and real-time shipment visibility to improve
efficiency and provide greater supply-chain transparency. The scale and
geographic spread of the contract will require coordinated fleet deployment,
route planning and shipment monitoring across multiple regions. Ritco said its
technology capabilities will help deliver the reliability and operational
precision required for specialised polymer transportation. The HRRL contract represents a major
expansion of Ritco’s business in the energy and petrochemical segment. The
company has been increasing its exposure to large industrial customers and
long-term transportation assignments, with polymer logistics emerging as an
important growth area. The company also
secured additional transportation and warehousing contracts around the same
period, taking its total new business wins to nearly ₹342 crore. These included
transportation work from Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd and a
warehousing contract from ONGC Petro additions Ltd in Gujarat. The three-year HRRL mandate gives Ritco
greater revenue visibility while supporting its strategy of building
longer-term relationships with major industrial and public-sector customers.
The contract is also expected to increase the scale of its technology-enabled
logistics operations. Ritco operates a nationwide logistics network covering
transportation, warehousing and integrated supply-chain services. The company
has been using its digital subsidiary TrucksUp and technology platforms to
improve fleet utilisation, tracking and logistics services. For the Indian petrochemical supply chain,
the contract highlights the growing requirement for specialised, reliable and
technology-driven distribution networks as domestic polymer production and
consumption expand.
The HRRL award
therefore marks an important milestone for Ritco, strengthening its position in
bulk and petrochemical logistics while giving the company a sizeable multi-year
contract to support future business growth.
