Revenue reached €1.467 billion, up 10% from €1.337 billion in the same
period last year. On an organic basis, revenue increased by 9%. The revenue increase came despite a 10%
decline in volumes sold during the first half of the year. Bolloré said its energy business benefited
from higher prices linked to the conflict in the Middle East. The division
generated the majority of the Group’s €1.644 billion revenue during the
period. Bolloré Energy is active in
the distribution and storage of energy products, with operations focused mainly
on France and other European markets.
Bolloré Energy also recorded a significant improvement in profitability
during the six-month period. Adjusted
operating income reached €47 million, compared with €27 million in the first
half of 2025, representing an increase of 77%. The Group attributed the increase to
positive inventory effects and a strong performance from its distribution
activities in France and Germany. The stronger performance from Bolloré Energy came
as the wider Group recorded mixed first-half results. Bolloré
generated €1.644 billion in revenue, up 6% from €1.547 billion a year earlier.
Organic growth stood at 8%. However,
adjusted operating income fell 15% to €104 million, while net income declined
to €133 million from €242 million in the first half of 2025. The Group ended June with a net cash
position of €1.447 billion, compared with €5.619 billion at the end of 2025.
The decline mainly reflected the payment of an exceptional dividend during
June.
