Sustainability Report 2026 highlights the port’s progress across key areas
including clean energy adoption, decarbonisation, green hydrogen and green
ammonia initiatives, development of low-carbon maritime infrastructure,
occupational safety, community development and responsible governance
practices. According to the port
authority, the report reflects VOC Port’s long-term commitment to integrating
sustainable development into its operations while supporting India’s maritime
decarbonisation agenda. It showcases initiatives aimed at balancing operational
growth with environmental stewardship and creating long-term public value
through responsible infrastructure development. The publication marks a significant
milestone in India’s port sector, setting a benchmark for transparency and
sustainability reporting among major ports as the country advances its green
maritime ambitions.
