The company said it is enabling seamless connectivity
between production hubs and consumption markets through its Domestic Supply
Chain, Express Distribution and Consultative Logistics businesses. Key
manufacturing clusters supported include Bhuj’s handicrafts, Jodhpur’s
furniture and artisanal products, Moradabad’s metal handicrafts, Tirupur’s
knitwear industry and Surat’s textile sector.
As MSMEs scale operations and
cater to wider domestic markets, Allcargo Logistics is addressing supply chain
complexities such as fragmented sourcing, seasonal demand and geographically
dispersed distribution networks through multimodal transportation, digital
shipment visibility and technology-driven logistics solutions. Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director &
CEO of Allcargo Logistics, said organised logistics providers are playing an
increasingly vital role in helping MSMEs adopt efficient, technology-driven
supply chains. He noted that digital tools, data-driven planning, enhanced
shipment visibility and emerging AI-led capabilities are enabling businesses to
improve operational efficiency, make informed decisions and respond more
quickly to changing market demands. He added that reliable logistics has become
a critical growth enabler for MSMEs seeking to expand their market reach,
improve customer service and embrace sustainable business practices, with
integrated logistics solutions helping build resilient and future-ready supply
chains. The company is also
supporting customers’ sustainability goals by optimising transportation,
improving load consolidation and enhancing end-to-end supply chain visibility,
reducing operational inefficiencies while improving logistics performance. To strengthen its nationwide network,
Allcargo Logistics has expanded its transshipment network from 21 to 71 centres
and launched the Allcargo Extended Reach (AER) network, providing coverage
across 100% of India’s serviceable PIN codes. The company has increased mapped
PIN codes from 21,000 to more than 32,000, while direct serviceable PIN codes
have more than doubled from 4,900 to over 10,000 through its Allcargo Distribution
Centres.
The expanded
network is expected to help MSMEs across India’s manufacturing clusters access
new markets, improve delivery reliability and scale their businesses with
greater confidence.
