Under the agreement, Aeroprime
will explore its appointment as beOnd’s Cargo General Sales and Service Agent
(GSSA) in India. The partnership is intended to establish the commercial
framework needed to support beOnd’s cargo business as the airline expands its
presence in the Indian market. Aeroprime brings extensive experience in India’s
aviation and air-cargo sector, with established relationships across the
airline and logistics industry. Its cargo-management business provides GSSA
services, sales and distribution support, ground-operation coordination and
revenue-focused cargo solutions. The
collaboration is expected to help beOnd develop access to India’s cargo market
and build relationships with freight forwarders, shippers and other supply-chain
stakeholders. A stronger local sales and distribution network could support the
airline in identifying cargo opportunities alongside its passenger
operations. For Aeroprime, the agreement further expands its portfolio of
international airline cargo partnerships. The company has previously been
appointed as a cargo GSSA for carriers including Thai Airways, strengthening
its experience in managing international airline cargo sales in India. beOnd, which operates as a premium leisure
airline, is seeking to broaden its commercial footprint in India while
developing a wider cargo ecosystem. The MoU provides a framework for the two
companies to evaluate the market opportunity and determine how Aeroprime can
support beOnd’s cargo activities.
India’s expanding air-freight
market offers significant potential for international airlines, driven by
growth in e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, high-value manufacturing, electronics,
perishables and time-sensitive shipments. Establishing a dedicated cargo sales
network can enable airlines to tap these sectors more effectively. The
partnership also reflects the increasing importance of belly cargo and
integrated airline cargo strategies as carriers seek additional revenue streams
from existing flight networks. With Aeroprime’s local market expertise and beOnd’s
international expansion plans, the companies aim to create new cargo
opportunities connecting Indian businesses with the airline’s wider
network. Further details on specific
cargo routes, capacity and launch schedules are expected to emerge as the
partnership progresses and the GSSA arrangement is finalised.
