JSW Tuticorin Multipurpose Terminal Achieves Record Monthly Cargo Volume at VOC Port
The terminal surpassed
its previous record of 5.32 lakh tonnes handled in July 2026, marking a
significant improvement in monthly cargo throughput. The latest milestone highlights the
terminal’s enhanced operational efficiency, coordinated efforts of its
workforce and stakeholders, and continued focus on improving cargo-handling
performance. V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority appreciated the JSW Tuticorin
Multipurpose Terminal team for its dedication and hard work in achieving the
record volume. The achievement also reflects the collaborative efforts of
various stakeholders associated with the terminal’s operations.
The record monthly
throughput further underscores the growing cargo-handling capabilities of VOC
