combines strategically located inland container depots, dedicated rail
connectivity and integrated logistics capabilities to improve transit
efficiency and support more reliable cold-chain supply chains. The rail-led reefer service offers
significant potential for sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food and other
temperature-sensitive commodities, enabling businesses to maintain product
integrity while transporting cargo efficiently to international markets.
DP World aims to
expand such partnerships and develop dependable, rail-based multimodal
logistics solutions to enhance supply-chain efficiency and support India’s
growing trade requirements.
