V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) is exploring opportunities to strengthen its role in India’s emerging green hydrogen ecosystem and connect with global clean-energy stakeholders.

VOCPA Explores Global Partnerships to Strengthen Green Hydrogen Ecosystem

VOCPA Chairperson Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, met Ms. Ivana Jemelkova, CEO, Hydrogen Council, on the sidelines of the Hydrogen Council Business Forum. The discussions focused on the growing role of ports in enabling the global clean-energy transition and positioning VOCPA as a strategic node in the green hydrogen value chain.     The interaction also explored potential engagement with the Hydrogen Council and its global member network in areas including industry partnerships, technology collaboration, investment opportunities and development of a stronger green hydrogen ecosystem around the port.   

As India advances its green maritime and clean-energy ambitions, VOCPA is seeking to leverage its port infrastructure and global partnerships to support the development of next-generation maritime energy solutions.
