The terminal
handled 22,29,464 metric tonnes (2.23
million tonnes) of cargo during the month, surpassing its previous best
of 2.13 million tonnes recorded in March 2026. The new milestone highlights the
terminal’s growing cargo handling capabilities, operational efficiency and
sustained efforts to enhance port operations.
The achievement reflects the
collective commitment and dedicated efforts of the entire PEQCTPL team in
strengthening Paradip Port’s position as a key maritime gateway for cargo
movement.
The record
throughput marks another significant milestone in the terminal’s operational
performance and reinforces its contribution to India’s maritime logistics and
trade infrastructure.
