earned in October last year. Freight loading also registered a 19.35%
year-on-year growth, rising to 0.74 million tonnes from 0.62 million tonnes in
the corresponding month of the previous year. According to Divisional Commercial Manager
(Freight) Neeraj Bhatnagar, the division maintained its growth momentum during
the first seven months of the current financial year (April-October 2026). During this period, freight revenue stood
at Rs 627.93 crore against the target of Rs 586.07 crore, surpassing it by Rs

crore recorded during April-October of the previous financial year. Freight loading during the seven-month
period increased by 7.07% to 5.60 million tonnes, compared with 5.23 million
