We must teach our sons
to respect women. Police must be vigilant and sensitive to prevent atrocities
against women.
These remarks were made by Professor Ratna Amrit, Principal of B.D. College,
Patna, at the program “Jagriti,” organized at Chandragupta Management
Institute, Patna, on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Sunday. The
program was organized under the joint auspices of Chandragupta Management

series of dialogue-based programs organized by Advantage Support. At
the event, Prof. Ratna Amrit said that women are advancing in every field.
Bihar has done remarkable work in women’s empowerment, which has become an
example. Today, Bihar has the highest number of female police officers
compared to male police officers in the country. Women are being given
reservations in government jobs and local bodies, which has brought about
significant change.
Earlier, in the inaugural session of the event, special guest and CIMP Director
Prof. Dr. Rana Singh said that women in our country have been given the status
of goddesses. Worshiping women is part of our culture. International Women’s
Day sends us the message to give women equal status. Further,
Khurshid Ahmed, Founder and Secretary of Advantage Support, said that the world
is incomplete without women. As mothers, sisters, daughters, and wives, women
are the support of our lives. A home is made up of women. Today, women have proven
through their abilities that they can run the state and even the country. He

Bihar” series. Programs focusing on sports and industry will also be organized
in the coming days. Increasing
education and employment are raising awareness

Nirvikar said that many laws have been enacted to prevent atrocities against
women, but there is a need to properly implement them. Today, with increased
education and employment opportunities, women in Bihar have become more aware.

Jayprabha Medanta Hospital, Patna, said that when we discuss the health sector,
