The programme is
designed to provide participants with practical techno-economic knowledge of
green hydrogen production and Power-to-X (PtX) technologies, equipping industry
professionals, policymakers and stakeholders with insights into the rapidly
evolving clean energy sector. A major highlight of the programme will be an
exclusive site visit on the third day to V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority’s
pioneering Green Hydrogen Production Facility, Green Methanol Bunkering
Facility, and the VOCPA Museum, offering participants first-hand exposure to
the port’s sustainability initiatives and green maritime infrastructure. The training programme is being organised by
the International Hydrogen Ramp-up Programme (H2Uppp) and GIZ India in
partnership with ICF Consulting, with support from V.O. Chidambaranar Port
Authority. With India accelerating its transition towards green fuels and
decarbonisation of the maritime sector, the initiative is expected to provide
valuable learning opportunities for professionals engaged in renewable energy,
ports, shipping, logistics and industrial decarbonisation.
VOCPA has invited
interested participants to register at the earliest, noting that seats for the
programme are limited.
