MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has launched its ILANGA Service, establishing a new weekly shipping connection between Dar es Salaam, Mundra and Colombo.

MSC Launches Weekly ILANGA Service Linking Dar es Salaam, Mundra and Colombo

The service, welcomed by Tanzania East Africa Gateway Terminal Limited (TEAGTL) at the Port of Dar es Salaam, is expected to strengthen trade links between India and East and Central Africa, while improving supply-chain efficiency and creating new opportunities for regional businesses.   The weekly rotation is Dar es Salaam → Mundra → Colombo → Dar es Salaam. TEAGTL said the new service further reinforces the Port of Dar es Salaam’s role as a key gateway connecting regional markets with global trade.
