The new service
connects Nhava Sheva and Mundra with Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Mombasa,
Kenya, offering shippers enhanced connectivity and additional scheduling
options. The IEX will operate on a
56-day butterfly-loop rotation covering Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Dar es Salaam –
Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Mombasa – Nhava Sheva.
Interasia Lines said the new service marks a significant expansion
beyond its core Intra-Asia and Indian subcontinent network.
The company is
contributing one vessel to the joint service, further supporting trade flows
between West India and East Africa.
