The Directorate
General of Shipping (DGS) stated that continuous coordination with Omani
authorities, the Embassy of India in Oman, and maritime stakeholders played a
crucial role in safeguarding the seafarers. The incident prompted an immediate
emergency response, with rescue teams working swiftly to account for all crew
