Jiangsu Ocean Shipping launches Vietnam and Middle East branches
To unlock greater potential within the
Middle East market and grow its worldwide shipping and logistics network,
Jiangsu Port Group has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with DP
World. Both sides will pursue comprehensive collaboration across port
operations, new shipping route deployment, cargo acquisition and end-to-end
logistics services. The alliance will
link Jiangsu Ocean Shipping’s Middle East shipping services to DP World’s
global terminal footprint, launch direct shipping connections between Jiangsu
and the Middle East, and deliver integrated one-stop logistics support for
local exports. Additionally, Jiangsu
Port Group signed memoranda of understanding with Dinh Vu Port in Vietnam to
advance coordinated development of port operations and logistics businesses
across Southeast Asia.
The establishment of the two new branches is
an upgrading from Jiangsu Port Group’s previous fragmented overseas agency
setup to formalised local on-the-ground operations.
