IMU Navi Mumbai's 86th Passing Out Parade

Indian Maritime University Navi Mumbai Campus celebrated 86 th Passing Out Parade on 15 th May 2026, marked a significant milestone for the graduating B.Sc. and DNS Nautical Science cadets

The occasion was graced by Shri Shailesh Kumar Pandey, IPS, D.I.G. (Agra Range), as a chief guest. He is the alumni of T S Chanakya TSC Ship No. 6018 (2003 Batch). In the pleasant evening, the ceremony commenced on the Quarterdeck with a magnificent display of discipline and precision. The parade was headed by Parade Commander Cadet Parthib Pran Doley, featuring the Chanakya Samman Guard led by Cadet Rohit Kumar, followed by multiple platoons and the Chanakyan Band under the leadership of Cadet Suyagay Singh.

Campus Director Dr. Capt. Mihir Chandra opened the formal addresses by highlighting the institution's success, specifically noting a 95% placement rate for eligible cadets. He emphasized the importance of accountability, responsibility, and the "DNA" of discipline and nationalist values. The Director encouraged the graduates to find passion in their work and maintain high professional standards as they transition to the global maritime industry.
