With more than 15 years of leadership experience in shipping, maritime
services and digital transformation, Teig most recently served as managing
director Singapore and executive vice-president of customer success for DA-Desk
and PortLog at maritime technology and services specialist Marcura, where
she supported more than 300 clients in the dry bulk and tanker markets. Prior
to Marcura, Teig held leadership positions at Western Bulk, including chief
process officer and general manager of its Singapore office.Teig holds an MSc
degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of
Economics. She previously sat on the board of the Norwegian Business
Association (Singapore), and has held several non-executive directorships
across the maritime industry throughout her career.As deputy CEO, Teig will
work closely with the Baltic Exchange’s CEO Mark Jackson, as well as the wider team, members and
panelists to enhance member services, expand product offerings and strengthen
the Baltic’s position as a provider of maritime market information.“It is an

deputy CEO is part of a leadership transition that was announced in October
2025. Mark Jackson will remain as CEO with Baltic Exchange but with broader
responsibilities and a focus on the company’s strategic initiatives and product
evolution.
