The EXIM operations
were inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri V. D.
Satheesan, in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Industries,
Information Technology and Commerce, Shri P. K. Kunhalikutty. The commencement of direct EXIM operations
marks a new chapter in Adani Ports’ Vizhinjam journey and strengthens the
port’s role in connecting Indian cargo with global markets. With export and
import operations now underway, Vizhinjamis positioned to emerge as an
important gateway for international trade and maritime connectivity.
Strategically located close to major international shipping routes,
Vizhinjam International Seaport, operated by Adani Ports, offers deep-water
capabilities and significant potential to serve as a key maritime gateway for
India. The commencement of EXIM operations is expected to provide exporters and
importers with enhanced access to global shipping networks and facilitate more
efficient cargo movement. The development also reinforces Adani
