VOC Port Wins 25th Environment & Sustainability Award 2026
V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOC Port) has been adjudged the Winner of the 25th Environment & Sustainability Award 2026 under the Environment Protection category by the Greentech Foundation.

VOC Port Wins 25th Environment & Sustainability Award 2026

The award recognises VOC Port’s sustained efforts in environmental protection, resource efficiency, sustainable port operations and adoption of green initiatives. The recognition highlights the Port’s continued focus on developing cleaner and more sustainable maritime infrastructure while progressively reducing the environmental footprint of its operations.   VOC Port expressed its gratitude to Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal for his continued guidance and support in advancing the Port’s green and sustainability initiatives.

The award also acknowledges the collective efforts of the VOC Port team towards promoting environmental stewardship and building a greener and more sustainable maritime future.
