The agreement was signed at the IOCL Mangalore
Terminal in Panambur by Smt. C. Divya, Divisional Institutional Business Head,
Bengaluru Divisional Office, IOCL, and Capt. Manoj Joshi, Deputy Conservator,
NMPA. The agreement has been entered into on a nomination basis. The
signing ceremony was attended by Smt. S. Shanthi, Deputy Chairperson, NMPA;
Shri Sidharth Agarwal, Executive Director & State Head, Karnataka State
Office, IOCL; Shri Shubhendu Pal, Executive Director (Engineering &
Projects), IOCL; and senior officials from both organisations. The agreement is expected to strengthen
bunkering infrastructure and services at New Mangalore Port, while providing
greater operational support to vessels calling at the port and those operating
at anchorage and offshore locations.
The initiative will contribute to improving the efficiency of vessel
operations and further strengthen New Mangalore Port’s maritime support
infrastructure.
